Primerica provides training and pays for licenses

You will want to get your license first. I suggest Property and Casualty (P&C) and Health and Life.
NIPR is the way to get started. https://nipr.com/licensing-center

New York life they hire you and they do provide training

Check with your state's license department. They most likely have a list of approved license classes.

Did training (unpaid) took state exam (NY) got license (had to pay for that too). Did the corporate training (also, unpaid). No salary, 40% commission. Never made a dime. So much work/money laid out for nothing. Terrible experience. Would recommend focusing on a salaried position.

I suggest you contact these two companies. New York Life hires then trains . They used to pay decent salary that was a draw against commissions . I worked with them for two years. I left because I f didn’t find it challenging enough for me.
The other company is Northwestern I knew several people who worked for them and they all spoke very highly of them. From what they told me everything about them is good.

Good luck with that, there's so many scams out there that you can never find a good one online.

contact John Solis on Facebook he will lead you in the right direction about getting into insurance.

Legitimate Insurance companies will pay for you to get your license.
I just took my life, accident and health class with Kaplan education. I passed my state test so now I am just waiting for my state license. I was about $300 with the state test too. I know some companies will pay for your class but I’m sure that comes with some catches. I didn’t want to be in debt to any company and hold my own license. It isn’t that hard and you could save up for the class. You are then very employable. Good luck!
