I've been working since I turned 15. I've been over seas on navy vessels, a electrician for 4 years and now back to where I started. #advice #education #training #beenwondering #inspiration

Look at blue collar work and infrastructure jobs I do telecommunications climbing cellphone towers got in with no extra school or anything. There is plenty of work in Telcom and similar industries that pay great with good benefits. They will train you and pay for it and if you end up not liking the work play they game long enough to get some skills or certifications and take it to a new company for more pay.
Let's just say that you always want to keep yourself improving your craft and keep learning constantly.
To the job seekers. I'm in the same situation but determine to keep trying. Some of these classes want you to take out a personal loan or even try to get a student loan. I've asked if I didn't qualify to have someone to co-sign and if they didn't qualify maybe the state will pay for the classes for you. I believe this was a commission for the representative. My truth this is wrong and we're looking for work.
Try going to the nearest Temp Service that pays daily. Get a cheap room.(bleach clean) Discipline youreself; practice money management.SAVE! The storm won't last forever....
I've had to do it several times in my life and I'm in the same position again. The best way to start is just that start something that will help move you forward even if only a little, becouse all those little things you did that only advanced you a little eventually add up to something big. Just don't think about how bad it seems instead focus on how good it will be. Before you know it you will be back on your feet full of self confidence becouse no matter what situation is you know you kick a**.
Check out doing heavy industry work. Such as refinery, chemical plants. There are many electrical companies out there begging for entry level and people like you to do new, expansions and short planned outages. Example contact (MMR in Aransas Pass TX.) And pick there brain for information. I am sure they would be glad to point you in a direction that. They are a electrical contractor that specializes in that industry and respect military personal, past or present. Once you make contact with there HP (hire personal ) they will probably be interested. Also contact Corpus Christy TX. Employment as a additional source online for your intelligence project. Also in area is the CCC craft school and training facility that all contractors use to give there new hires orientation before they go out on job sights. Good hunting, once you get though the first one its all the same after that.
