In response, the reason why i should still be considered for the position which I am applying for is I am qualified reliable and a very quick learner. An inadvertent failure to answer all the questions.asked should not bar me from consideration for the position. Because there must be a reasonable explanation. I assure you it was not intentional.

It is true that I do not meet all the requirements to the letter, but my experience has given me skills and resilience that directly contribute to this role. In addition, I have the discipline and curiosity to quickly learn what I lack. In my career, I have shown that I can successfully adapt to new markets and tools.

That’s fair — and I wouldn’t expect to check every box. If I did, I’d probably be overqualified and bored. What I do bring is the ability to learn fast, adapt quickly, and deliver results — which, in real life, matters more than a perfect checklist. Most top performers grow into roles, not just match them on paper. If you’re looking for someone who will rise to the challenge and exceed expectations, I’m that person.

I would likely thank them for their time and promptly leave.

There'll be another company that I may not "check all the boxes" for, but they'll hire me anyway without this question, and I'll make them money instead.

The job market is a two-way street.
