I breathe through stress at work and handle the situation at hand. As for burnout, I would request to have my days off together so I actually feel like I have time off. THAT'S HOW I WOULD ANSWER

I show up!

Working in a restaurant high volume high end fast paced restaurant. I see a lot of teammates get stressed easily. When I get stressed, I take a moment gather all the information I need for every one of my guests in a five table section and prioritize every table correctly, so my guests aren’t getting dinners while they’re eating their salads or a table that needs another cocktail isn’t waiting for me as long as I’m moving and staying busy I don’t have time to get burned out on a shift. If I’m off the next day, I try to pick up a shift so I don’t get lazy and not want to work the more I work the more money I make the better I feel.

I would inquire about the possibility of an employee assistance program that have trained professionals to handle said stresses to avoid burnout. If this is not an option, having breathing and coping techniques such as a journal or reflective drawing tablet can also aide in the deescalation process
