Listen intently and ask questions to make sure I understand my boss’ concerns and perspectives. Then, when I think I understand his/her concerns and perspectives, I would respectfully express my perceptions, recollections, and perspectives. Finally, I would strive to reach a consensus with my boss on the concerns, problems, and solutions going forward.

I would try to validate the part that we would agree first... then move on where I disagree as a suggestion/expansion of option for others to consider.

I disagreed with the boss once! In the army this Sgt. Wanted to have a company picnic. Fine! But everyone celebrate except for the cooks? They had to work when everyone else was partying. Well I'm a cook! That didn't sit right with me. So we went to his boss and stated that we the cooks are part of the company! So why do we work while everyone else is partying? I won the argument!

I requested a private meeting in her office with the door closed. We both respected each other as professionals and both had strong opinions. Behind the closed doors I was able to articulate my disagreement and my thoughts on a better course of action. She continued to stand firm with the decision she had made so once her door opened, it was my job to be loyal to her and to the organization that we both represented. While we are both human, her pathway and experience has letter into a leadership role. It is violin, important to show unity, support, envision by ineven win. It’s a direction we would not have chosen.

I spoke and told my side, my thoughts and concerns, whether we agree or disagree, it's always fair to listen to your fellow colleagues, to respect their outlook on different situations/scenarios, and work together as a team . . .

My boss wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but he was funny as hell. So one day during a disagreement I decided to make him laugh since he'd been the one always making everyone else laugh 😃. Our disagreement faded as we all laughed together realizing no one is perfect. We all have good days and bad, but being patient and introspective about how each individual personality contributes into making the whole "Team" gel is the purpose of our existence.

I listened to everything he or she had to say then after and I didn't agree still I would say to him or her if I May I would like you to hear my opinion on the situation and see what you think and if they still wanted it to be their way I would just continue with what they wanted even though I disagreed with them. It's not my place to go against what the boss wants but I will try to offer other alternatives

I disagree with my boss on an employee that works with me she was very disrespectful to another coworker and I felt the way that she talked to her was undeserved and I shared that with her she took some time to think about it and approach me saying she agrees and thank you for my feedback and it worked itself out
