Interview practice: How would you answer this interview question? "You are given a task that you know could be done more efficiently, but it is how things have always been done. What would you do?

No

I WOULD FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS BUT STILL.SUGGEST TOO MY BOSS IF WE COULD CHANGE THE OLD WAY TOO A BETTER NEWER WAY

If there is a system in place that is successful and operates smoothly, i would utilize that system that is in place.

I would call support to assist in special circumstances we want to accommodate loved ones but also foster a safe environment where rules are respected

Ask a supervisor and explain how you could possible do it an easier way but would still prefer doing it as it has been done before.

I feel that if has worked sufficiently so far we should use the method that has worked for so many before. No need in disruptive what is already in place.

If the traditional method works and everyone is comfortable, it may be best to stick with it, even if a more efficient way exists. Sometimes, consistency helps the team manage and see potential improvements while maintaining stability.

Is training provided? Also since this website is a third party have these jobs proven to be authentic?

Keep doing it the way that it's been done but suggest the way that you feel might save some time to a supervisor that way your butt is covered and if they like it now they like your way of doing things they see that it's efficient approach it in a professional detailed oriented suggestion format and let it go from there and you'll find what kind of boss you have if they're an a-hole though dismiss you right off the bat to and if they're understanding and smart they'll listen to you and then that will also answer a question do I want to keep working here
I would follow SOP … Standard Operating Procedures and follow up with leadership on what I believe to be a more efficient completion process.
