Let’s celebrate the power of adaptability

Good morning, Jobcasers! Each week, we highlight a community member whose insights reflect not just experience, but thoughtfulness in how they show up and lead. This week’s $100 Jobcaser of the Week offered a calm, clear approach to a question that rattles a lot of people: what do you do when priorities change?

🏅 Bill Carroll

Bill shared a methodical, steady way to handle shifting priorities in the workplace. His advice? Clarify the change, re-baseline your workflow, protect the timeline, and keep everyone informed. His answer reminds us that adaptability isn’t about reacting fast—it’s about responding with clarity, communication, and purpose.

💙 Thank you, @Bill Carroll, for modeling thoughtful leadership and reminding us what it looks like to navigate change with confidence and care.

Join the US Tech Force and make up to $200K

The U.S. Tech Force is a new White House–backed workforce program designed to bring skilled workers—not just people with fancy degrees—into some of the most important technology jobs in government. Through a paid, two-year program, participants work directly with federal agencies like the Treasury Department and Department of Defense to help improve systems that millions of Americans rely on every day. If you’ve built real-world skills in tech through work experience, certifications, military service, or hands-on projects, this program offers a chance to earn strong pay, top-tier benefits, and career-changing experience, while serving the country and opening doors to private-sector jobs after the program ends.

Program highlights:

  • 💼 No traditional college degree required — skills and experience matter most
  • 💰 High-paying roles (estimated $150K–$200K/year + federal benefits)
  • 🧠 In-demand skills welcome: software, AI, cybersecurity, data, project management
  • 🏛️ Work directly with government leaders on real, large-scale problems
  • 🚀 Training, mentorship, and pathways to private-sector jobs after completion

Let’s celebrate the power of emotional grit and patience

Good morning, Jobcasers! Each week, we recognize a community member whose insight reveals something real about the world of work. This week’s $100 Jobcaser of the Week offers a powerful reminder that some of the best career lessons come from behind a register.

🏅 Erin Parcells

When reflecting on how a cashier job shapes your career, Erin didn’t hold back. She spoke to the emotional strength it builds—the patience to navigate every kind of personality, the communication it sharpens, and the quiet resilience it demands. Her message? The way you handle challenges tells others exactly who you are—and that’s where real growth begins.

💙 Thank you, @Erin Parcells, for showing us how grit, grace, and self-awareness can turn any starting point into something more.
