I don't know about the Call center-Customer Service Representative. I have a back-ground in Collections and having contact with others was very important at the time. I'm open to trying, A remote-hybrid position.

My journey

MY JOURNEY AT CARLCARE

In 2015, I joined Carlcare Service, a company under Transsion, with operations in Africa, Asia, and South America. I started as an intern, working as a mobile phone technician, receptionist, and warehouse worker in the Kampala branch.

Under Chinese supervision, I learned a lot and quickly proved myself. After a year, I was promoted to Branch Supervisor and transferred to Lira City, where I oversaw customer satisfaction, administrative work, sales, and technical support.

My achievements in Lira were remarkable:

  • Complaint reduction from 80% to 10%
  • Customer satisfaction improvement from 20% to 90% monthly
  • Agent/dealer satisfaction reached 98%
  • Sales and income improvement from $3,000 to over $10,000 per month
  • Turnaround time management improved from 45% to 80% same-day completion

These achievements earned me a certificate as one of the best Branch Managers in 2016, and I was promoted to Regional Manager, overseeing the Eastern region of Uganda.

After another successful year, I was promoted again and recalled to the main office in Kampala... (to be continued)

To show interviewers you're ready for a Customer Service Representative job, highlight your strong communication skills, ability to stay calm under pressure, problem-solving skills, and previous experience working with customers. Be prepared to provide specific examples of how you've successfully handled difficult customer interactions in the past. Additionally, consider taking advantage of resources on Jobcase and other job search providers to brush up on industry-specific knowledge and practice common customer service scenarios. Good luck!
