Also Antonio some companies depending on if you're going to be driving a company vehicle you'll have to be at least 25 years of age due to the companies insurance company. But really if you are focused and can drive you should be able to land any delivery driver job. I mean assuming you can read and write English and everything else will come to you. Like checking your paperwork to make sure the quantities and descriptions of the load being delivered are correct and how to strap your load in so you don't go and shift your load and end up with a mess in your trailer or whatever vehicle you're transporting merchandise in. Oh and as silly as this might sound you should know the height of the highest point of your vehicle or trailer...lol You wouldn't want to get stuck in a parking structure or drive thru or something like that...hahahahaha.

I went and took the Class E written test for delivery driving and Taxi Driver. It is a Chauffers license . And states that it is a " For Hire" License. I started the Taco Driving and Delivery Driving Job On the Same Day, Over 20 years ago. On April of this year I will start School for a "Class A CDL. I am retired management from FedEx Ground and from what I remember many of the driving positions contractors have, would be people with at least 1 year of (Job) driving experience, clean driving record and background. That could be Uber, Food delivery, School bus, etc. You must negotiate salary with the contractors. You can also hire on at FedEx as a package handler which gets you in the door at a great company, but part time. You will work hard, but advancement is the product of a job well done.
