Hi Nadine, Are you only interested in a VP role at a company? Depending on how aggressive you want to switch jobs, or start one, you might want to lead without the title-constraint up front. Lots of times you can get a foot in the door, prove yourself and be where you want in really quick fashion. But as soon as you demand a title up front, there are a whole bunch of other jobs that you are saying you don't want to consider. The tough thing there is - a VP in one company means something totally different than a VP in another. (think VP of a 2 person startup vs. VP of Walmart). I always suggest finding the right team, the right culture, the right role, and then considering title last.

Thats not to say I have it right. If the title really is important to you - then stick to your guns. Just suggesting a different path.....

Either way, I wish you the best, and here is a link to VP jobs in your area as a starting point for your current specifications.... http://jobcase.com/jobs/search?header_search_type=jobs&l=30135&q=vice+president&utf8=✓

Good luck and thanks for being part of the community. Fred
