Why do employers hold your pay hostage & then act as if it’s a sin to ask for your pay?

Employers enjoy exercising their oppression power to full fill their egos. That's why in most companies only the ass kissers get to keep their jobs longer along with the under the desk crawlers.

In the words of Lindsay Buckingham, "All kinds of people in this world." Some want to make you speak and see how you handle having a problem. It's best just to ask politely can I please have my paycheck. I saw it before where a supervisor refused to give a co-worker her paycheck. She got mad and threatened. She said she needed her paycheck for the weekend. I told her to ask nicely, please can I have it. It was a powerplay but just go with it. Don't fight with the supervisor.
