How would you answer this interview questions: "Tell me about a risk you took at work"?

Leaving early

I assessed men for a life sentence in prison if they were sexual offenders

What kind of position is this for?

HR, Area directors, regional VPs make internal decisions when money comes up missing from a safe at a restaurant the fire a manager and don’t let the public know. I was the mid manager and the day manager took the money deposit but they wanted to fire me. I stepped into action had a best friend that was an Area Director told him the story he said the only way to save your job if you didn’t do it is to pick up the phone in front of those 3 people dail 911 and tell the police you been robbed. Saved my job police had to investigate the whole thing while I kept my job it was in the paper the next day. I said to police I’d like to do a polygraph test and the other manager has to do it too. I said I’ll sign up first I have nothing to hide. The other manager went second the next day the other manager quit abruptly and I kept my job but lost respect for Applebees for how they handle honest people. I moved to another restaurant chain and did great with them.
