What should I know before applying to a Sales Associate job?
What you want to know about Me. I have a Real Estate license on hold at TRAC.
I have worked for Holiday Senior Retirement communities as Sales Leader from 2007 to 2014 in many of Hoilday communities out of state and again 2021 to 2022 was sent to Dallas Tx, brought censes up in 3 communities then sent to N. Carolina brought censes up in 2 communities; I left N. Carolina position to work back in Texas sadly to say there was no openings for me to work at a Hawthorn community here is why I’m looking to work in anoher Senior Retirement community in Texas; preferably Austin, Tx and/or surrounding area.
I am available immediately in this field of work in Austin plus area.

I would say it's just like any time you try to find new customers. Do your research and start beating bushes. Call all the major ones in the area.

Be able to sell things that you do not necessarily believe in or if you have a relationship with the client that they don’t really need but your money, you commissions depend on you being able to sell a rock to someone and not have a second thought. Sales can be a brutal industry especially when the economy is suffering, I went through 2008 and the aftermath in sales till 2010, I managed to barely make a positive during the holiday season when most of the other departments, the store ended negative. It can be brutal but if you can sell a rock go for it.
