My advice to someone who just lost their job is
Stay home with your family. Take the time to enjoy them have a dinner together! what can we do? I suggest looking out for one another and trying to stay positive. I have spent a endless amount of time on line looking for resources. only to be redirected hit a button because you have pop-ups that come up for advertising I mean your phone's going off because you just filled something out online and then you realize it's a solicitor it gets very frustrating. I I feel we're all in this together I think the best thing is to stay home and stay away from everybody so we can get rid of this I know it's hard but what do you do. Apply for SNAP food benefits. If you are unemployed and have no money coming in you are sure to be approved. I started receiving in mid0-March and already have $505 in my account. Also if you are annoyed by ads online install adblockerplus. Google it. It is totally free and takes like seconds to install. When I go on youtube or anywhere there are zero ads to interfere. I was just given a three day eviction notice. And that made me think a lot, it made me think about the people that have it way worse than me. It made me think it made me think what are we going to do someone like that everyday working-class person they lose their job they can't get in touch with any resources they get thrown out of their home and they have an eviction on their record so they can't get another place when the economy gets back but you don't pay your car insurance you lose your driver's license I mean this it's a down hill struggling to get back , but the sooner we all just stay home we will stop the spread of Coronavirus 19. Kind of hard to stay home with no money or food, can't log in to my unemployment site, can't get food stamps, so forget staying home
I would love to stay home, but as one person said, there are bills to pay.
I think this $#!+ Is crazy because people who never had jobs are getting this unemployment money living their dream life collecting food stamps have no worries the covid has been a blessing for them but meanwhile people who do get up at 4a.m. just to get to a 7a.m. job can't even get in contact with a human at unemployment the system sucks why would they go find a job when unemployment is giving them free money and why can't us workers get our money that we put in
