I was a job hopper for last 20 years because I got bored after 2 years and moved on with more money. I settled down and work in same company for 7 years and plan to retire there. These are my tricks to get an offer:

  1. dress well will make you feel confident
  2. show up 10-15 mins early
  3. firm handshake
  4. keep eyes contact, don’t stare
  5. sit all the way back against the chair, both hands on chair armrests. Bring a note book and pen to write or pretending to write, trust me they will wondering what you wrote. This position help me from getting nervous and give me more confident. One time about 10 people interviewed me, I was nervous but after 5 minutes I control the situation and became interviewer, yes I got an offer.
  6. always answers with team player tone. I am an Asian female and almost always got an offer if I get an interview. Good luck!!

Do a little research on the company and the position you’re interviewing for before your interview. Then ask some genuine questions that show you’ve done your homework and are prepared. Also, make eye contact and smile. Being personable and friendly tends to give a more lasting impression than being dry and rigid. Good luck!

You stated these tips beautifully. So often when people are interviewed they tell the employer how things should be. Wrong attitude!
