Operation Technician Ii at United Technologies

Too 2 many jobs searches with no results

I have been looking for a job for 18 months since I got let go at my last employer. I have been online almost every day applying on the internet I am close to starting to go in foreclosure for home that I bought two days before the company let me go. The laws in Arizona don't allow the companies that give you any particular reason for a new supervisor two days into the job to just relieve you of your duties but I hope that there is better things I'm out there for me. I'm willng to accept anything now. I have been in Aeospace operations for over 17 years and final assembly , FAA quality experience. just asking for a little help

Hi Pauline Dyse - I am so sorry to hear about your situation.

I have a couple conversations that I think can benefit you. If you've been applying online for 18 months and still haven't gotten any bites, then it might be time to switch it up. I know it might seem like a lot of information, but I guarantee that it will leave you feeling better about your search!

I hope this helps, Pauline. The Jobcase community is here for you!!

You've been on the job search path for quite a long time Pauline Dyse so lets see how we can come together in this community to get you on the fast track to your next career opportunity.

So, right of the bat it's very obvious that you have an impressive work background, skillset, and experience level within a reputable company which leads me to believe could be some concerns why employers are having a hard time matching you with the right job opportunity. You're way too overqualified!

Question... have you been customizing your resume to fix the specific demands and requirements listed on each job description? Don't rely one a one resume fits all approach to apply to online jobs. Technology has revolutionized how applicants are evaluated after their online applications get submitted. Often times too much experience will immediately cast you right out of contention for a job opportunity you're clearly a perfect match for.

Proctor & Gamble has a Plant Technician job opening at their Phoenix, AZ manufacturing facility that might meet your immediate career interest, see Proctor & Gamble Plant Technician Job. Have you already applied for this job? If so, did you use a customized and optimized resume when you applied?

Patrick Coppedge is an active and very informative community member that has some experience restructuring resumes to get noticeability. He also happens to live within the Phoenix, AZ area so I'll tag him on this message so he can offer you some application customization techniques and other possible job leads and area hiring opportunities that fit your background.

Julie Helton and Ron Delio are another pair of powerful local resource you should include in your job search arsenal.

Okay, so, right now I'll give you an opportunity to review this job posting but please let us know if these type of jobs are not within your career search options so we can target more job opportunities that meet your interests.

I understand how things may seem a bit desperate right now Pauline Dyse but please Stay Encouraged. Your in the right place for support.

Hope this message finds you well!
