I've been trying to imagine what a successful restaurant will look like in July or October, because there will be more opportunities for those who adjust to the new normal vs. those waiting for things to go back to the way they were. Life will not return to normal until a vaccine. Here is a wild guess. Whether because of new health regulations or customer skittishness tables will need to be spaced further apart. Customers will need to be convinced that eating in will is not risky. Crowded bars will be out of favor or illegal. Waitstaff will wear gloves and perhaps masks. Tables and menus will be disinfected between customers. Hopefully the market will be too small for restaurants will target ads at those with antibodies. #coronavirus #postcorona #foodservices
