Overall I would prefer for questions to be direct and related to the actual work environment and position. Asking random questions about someone's characteristics does not let you know if the person can handle the job duties. It's better to have a serious discussion if expectations from both parties to avoid misconceptions and promote transparency. As a candidate I also would like to know if the company is a great fit for me.
