Liars ?!
Question for you all....is like to hear your responses.
So I was offered a job Last Friday. I accepted and today was my first day. On accident I found out that I was not the first choice and I had more experience than the first choice but offered less, the only reason I got the job was because the other person didn’t answer the email for the job.
Upon me sending an email checking on the situation to see if a decision had been made, I was told there would be a decision made by a specific time. I was told that corporate could not decide so the decision was made by the man who hired me (which was a total lie)
I’m not sure if I should feel thankful that I have a job or be pissed that I was lied to and lowballed.
Hmmmmm perhaps take the job and then look for something else Grace Cuneo if you feel the culture isn't right or just decline the offer. That is totally up to you. I know I would be a bit upset. Is there room for advancement in the future?
Grace Cuneo How do you know the information you found out "on accident" is true? Be grateful for the opportunity you have and just as Ashley Wilson said look further if it turns out not to be the right fit.
