Had an interview, now job posting is back up
So I had an interview two weeks ago and everything went extremely well. I was told by someone who didn't really know the timeline of when I would hear back that it would be 1-2 weeks, but again she wasn't sure and said to ask HR with any questions. I reached out to HR yesterday after two weeks for a follow up and was told my recruiter was on vacation, but would have some feedback for me by the beginning of next week. Getting a negative vibe from the word feedback, I checked to make sure the job was still down online (it was taken down after my phone interview and stayed down for weeks before my in person) and it was back up. Am I right to think I didn't get the job? #interview #jobsearch #followup
Tough to say but I wouldn’t reach the conclusion that you didn’t get the job based on the job posting. They may have another position or maybe they want to bring in more candidates in order to make it a more competitive selection process. I think you should keep following up but don’t keep all your eggs in one basket. Stay aggressive in your job search until someone extends an offer. Good Luck
