Why do I fold during interviews but, not when I'm under pressure?

I’ve noticed that people who speak in exceptional English format are more known to get rewarded opportunities & higher pay. Even though they might not be the brightest. They contribute the gift of gab & do well under pressure. I seem to fold when I’m getting interviewed. I have great confidence and I speak with intelligence. Why do I speak formal on a regular basis, then when I get interviewed I stumble? Anyone else has this issue? How do I overcome this flaw? I think that we all are under a lot of pressure. We want the job so bad that we cave during the interview. I have done this myself, mostly because I have been out of work for a long time. You should drink some calming tea before your interview. I like Bigalow tea and it works. good luck

Looking for a long term job where I can learn and grow, as well as find purpose!

I'm not sure, but I tend to do somewhat of the same thing lol! I do ok in the interviews, but then when it comes to the first day and week...that's when I fold. I think its totally normal to get super nervous for an interview. I dont know, Im not sure what my damn problem is bc I end up quitting within the first two weeks lol

I agree that job interviews can be stressful. I have asthma and sometimes this can cause an anxiety attack. Drinking tea seems to calm me down at least after a stressful situation.
