What should I do?

I have 6+ years of management and training but everything in my area want to low-ball me into taking less than what I can bring to the company like working crew for $7 less than what I previously made causing me to have to decline. I need a job as soon as possible #jobsearch #management #advice

That’s because the system is grossly flawed. There’s so many contradictions & inconsistencies it’s not even funny. Yet if you point them out they label you “crazy”. The ppl at the top are dumb af & expect the ppl at the bottom to just obey. Don’t ask q’s. Don’t get cute. Don’t get smart. Just do the work.

They all low ball. So many scam jobs offering this, that, then nothing. I get a million emails, indeed, other platforms, it's all crap. Immediate hiring, going on interviews. Never not worked except for covid crap. Now the whole Country is screwed.

I can relate to your frustration. Have you tried contacting a recruiter in your area? You can tell them what type of job and salary you are looking for. That is how I found my current job.

In my experience a lot of companies have a cap at what they can offer and yes it can sometimes backfire on you if you mention what the “average pay” is somewhere else or on a website but it certainly doesn’t hurt to let them know that with all of your experience you would like for them to at least “see” if there’s any chance they could offer more. It also depends on if you are able to decline offers and wait for a salary you deserve. I know it’s hard but if you are worth more than they are willing to pay then I would decline and keep looking

Iam in the same boat. I have over 30 years in Freight Forwarding Custom House Brokerage, Logistics regarding Overseas Construction, whereas I oversaw purchasing dept. make decision to send the cargo direct on an airline, bring to warehouse, pack it there into containers, decide what kind of containers needed or other shipping devices. Deliver all cargo to the job site as needed for installs. Work with foreign governments in Foreign Military Sales. All kinds of experience in the Middle East. All I get is BS jobs whereas they call them Logistics, but they are so specialized it would take an expert in their field. I sit here and laugh. I am in Seaford , Delaware, living off my savings.
