How often do YOU think employees should get raises? I worked somewhere that didn't give me a raise in the entire FOUR years I worked there!

I believe employees should get raises once a year.
From a manager, I would give raises (If I could from the owner) every 4-6 months, depending on their performance.
In my experience, I've always received yearly raises. When working for a large Corp., it has been automatic at my yearly review. I have worked for a smaller LLC before that I had to fight for my raises.

Eleana: It has also happened to me. At the end of every year raises should be given. But they changed that process in secret! We all need it as the cost of living increases. Company executives give themselves raises and bonuses every year!

My experience has been to transition to a results oriented pay rather than a weekly or hourly pay basis.
