You are asked to complete a task within a short amount of time, but you know that doing so will compromise the quality of the work. How would you approach this situation?

I would be honest and let my supervisor know that by doing so, it will compromise my quality of work. Then, I would ask them if they still wanted to proceed. If the answer is yes, proceed to complete the work to the best quality allowed within that time frame.

I would apply myself to making it happen but reminding my supervisor due to the time frame it may not be my best work but my best attempt would be made.

I would state that what is being asked can not be accomplished in the time frame that has been allotted. If the task was to be done completely with all components intact it will take longer to complete.

I would do the job to the best of my ability and the small amount of time and get as much done as possible.

I’m generally timely and efficient. After analyzing what needs to be done, to present my best quality of work, I believe more time is needed to complete this task. However, i will certainly do my best to accomplish the task efficiently.

Honesty is the best policy I would explain explain that I feel the integrity of the work would be compromised and offer to get it done right and cut myself out of time or pay because it's the work of the person who is point of contact that the customer is going to hold responsible or remember most

I would briefly explain the task I have before whereas the employer will be aware of the possibility of not getting what they want on time but in a timely fashion.
