Need advice plz dual masters and no interviews

#jobseeker #help #Healthcare #administration

Good morning everyone, I am a bit frustrated at this point. I have a bachelors in biology, a masters in public health with certifications in both health management/policy and epidemiology and am nearly done with my MBA as well. I am looking to get into healthcare administration and can't seem to even get my foot in the door. I have applied to literally hundreds of positions ranging from entry level to senior positions. I tailor my resume and cover letter for each position, yet I haven't been contacted for a single interview, just denials after denials. I can't even get entry level jobs as a front desk coordinator which I am way too over qualified for. How can I gain the experience if not given a chance??? I would volunteer or try internships but most often than not they don't pay and I can't commit to them without being reimbursed. I have years of experience working in different aspects of healthcare such as clinical, pharmaceutical, and even did a year long unpaid internship in epidemiology. As far as management experience goes, I ultimately ran two small family owned businesses until we sold them for profit. What can I do? I'm nearing almost a year now without any progress. I've considered recruiting agencies, but it seems most don't deal with healthcare admin

Try a temp agency, or you may have to consider relocation to areas that value your education and training.

Try a temp agency for experience. Narrow down what it is you want to do. Healthcare is a broad fielld.

With your education pharmaceutical sales would be a good match. Lots of money in it too!

I specialize in Resumes. You should have key words in your cover letter that will prompt the hiring manager to look at your resume. Once that is achieved you need to have keys in your resume that seals the deal. If you want me to look it over send it to me off page. Good luck.

Consider that your qualifications might intimidate the hiring official. More than once ended up having my hiring boss end up working for me.

Do good personal research. Find out the office and whom you will be working for. Then edit your resume and write a cover letter going to the hiring official. Better yet, get a connection to the boss of the person that will be doing the hiring. Find a place you would like to work and study it. If they have a cafeteria, plan on spending some time there. Start a conversation with a person during their lunch. Ask them what working for the concern is like. Do they know anyone in the office you want to work in. If they have a website or news publication, read it, find information about possible retirements in the department. Look for and read information on walls and bulletin boards.

Ask questions during g the interview that is specific to the company and department. NEVER indicate how they do something is stupid and you can solve that! Have them share with you and let them know they obviously have great pride in the company and you will support that.

Tone down and good luck.
