I've worked for both small and big companies.Small companies are definitely more personal, big companies tend to treat you like a number. However, with small companies you might be asked to do things outside of your job description.I've swept floors, cleaned bathrooms, taken out the trash. If you show you are willing to do whatever is necessary, they treat you like gold.

I have worked for both and prefer big companies/corporations or big Universities. They have more jobs for future upward mobility.

I would rather work the later hours

A smaller company

I prefer a small company that will offer on the job training.

Work hard to build up for success

I work for a larger organization that still has the small company feel as they listen to employees, care about everyone and have built great leadership. We all have the potential to grow in our careers. You can't make a blanket statement as to whether small or large is better w/out looking at the individual companies you are evaluating. My small company experience was awful (the leadership stifled employee input and didn't give a rip about anyone but themselves including the CEO/President). I work at a large company that is a polar opposite to that.

Please I was in the world is the best way I could have done it to be in my heart is a great day of my life is a great time with you guys have to do it for you and your mom and dad and Rumali call you have to do

Mandates are not LAW, mandates are illegal. If you get firedthen you file for unemployment and sue them. If you QUIT, you get NOTHING> Mandates are NOT LAW.
Smaller companies offer you the benefit of growing and also pay more attention to your voice, recommendations and needs. In some small companies you can even make more money that if you work in a big corporation at certain levels. You also might have the opportunity of creating your own environment and even your own workflow style sometimes. Big corporations I think it all depends of the sociopolitical mentality of the location. I used to work for a couple of different German corporations and it was a very different treatment and environment, than here in the USA. A lot healthier in all aspects, than working in cheap corporate USA. USA corporations are focused on volume and sales, and in order to achieve that goal they need to overwork their employees and pay the lowest possible salaries. In that way, their investors can collect their big chunks of money faster. Besides that, corporations in USA have the tendency of making you feel that you are just a mere number that can be disposed anytime even without any particular valid reason. Because they pay so low, they hire mediocrity. And mediocre people produce tons of subjectivity, which might be dangerous and damaging in many ways. In my extremely personal experience, the European corporate mentality is not openly focused in exploiting and overworking their employees, like in the USA. Europeans are focused in quality of services and product quality and the well being of their employees is crucial to achieve that. At least that's my experience. We ended talking about something else! LMAO! But if you live in USA, try to get a job in a small company. It will be a lot better for your emotional health in all aspects and perhaps more remunerating in money and other aspects too. Remember money is not everything! Cheers!
