My story
#coronavirus #ridesharedriver. I'm from Orlando, the most touristic city in the world. Without tourists, the city focuses on few businesses. With the pandemic, I ended up losing my tourist clients and I'm out of a job.

So sorry to read about your job loss. Don’t forget to apply for unemployment. Secondly, it may be a stretch, but some of your clients may now of an opportunity for you. If you don’t ask...you won’t know. Check out google for remote or part time jobs. Some stores that are hiring are: Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Albertsons, CVS, Walmart, Lowes’s, Publix and Kroger’s. Dominos, Pizza Hut and Papa Johns are also hiring. If these stores aren’t in your area...similar ones may exist. Good luck and God bless. Keep us informed.

Ripple effect from this is going to impact people we never think of. Your success is from tourists that's one ripple from Disney closed. Think of the supplies they order weekly. 20,000 giant turkey legs not needed for the last 6 weeks.
Buddy of mine owns a screen printing company. He paid 2 years ago to have copyright approval for NCAA March Madness. Canceled the tournament and he's out the fee and the cost of 50K tshirts inventory.
Everyone is going to be hurt by this global crisis. Now more than ever, if you can, pay for someone's coffee. I saw 2 nurse taking a break from a mandatory 15 hour shift. I got 2 $10 giftcards for Starbucks and gave each one to say thank you. They have family that are in high risk to become sick. But they still show up for the shift.
Find a way.... doesn't have to be money or giftcard... take your neighbors mail to their door so they won't be at risk outside.
Take a picture of your kid doing online classes and email it to the teachers. Have the kid make a thank you picture... so they know what they are doing is appreciated.
Pay It Forward... somehow... someway. Make it a better day.

That's rough, Edgar. Just imagine how a city like Vegas is doing. That whole city relies on tourism. This pandemic will affect the economy for years to come to some degree. People are not going to be rushing out on vacation even after it passes. Cities who run on tourism will take a long time to come back if at all.
