Customer Service Associate at Costco

Im not too old, yet.

I'm only 62. Not in the grave yet !! Have put my application out all over this area. I'm trying to keep close enough to where I live so I don't have to drive too far. Only looking for part time. Always loved all the people I've met where ever I've worked through the years. But....its been a long wait so far. I look around and see alot of younger people working , I'm proud they are but don't forget we older citizen's have a lot to give yet .

Chief Engineering at Building Maintenance

I'm 63 and have exactly the same problem been looking for a real job since 2013, all I could find was contract engineer, I would go and work for a couple of months, they loved my performance ,always on time, then the contract would be over and then here comes unemployment, it's really hard to keep a positive outlook when the creditors are banging on you door.

I am 63. It seems that despite of my search of jobs fate has been unkind to me. I believe the companies are looking for my local job experience but ho can I, am just new in this country. I just retired from my job in my home country. Thats the reason why i don't have yet any local job experience here.

BB&T CARD FRAUD DETECTION SPECIALIST I

55 here and looking to get back working in my city. I drive to my current job and I'm ready to leave this dead end job. I don't have what they are looking for obviously because all the young new hires are getting the promotions. Hang in there. #ageism is real. #jobsearch #notdeadyet #lotsofexperience #seniorswithexperience

Unfortunately age discrimination is practiced daily in this country it's just done covertly while an employer can not ask your age what they do is ask on the application did you graduate high school if so what year then they do some quick math figuring most people graduate at 18 so do the math and they have your age sneaky but unfortunately not something that we can prove in court
