I know employees are often the biggest expense, but if you want customer service, you need employees to be loyal. And for loyalty, they need to be able to afford a place to live, food, clothes, etc. there is a disconnect rn

As a very wise millionaire said to me. You get what you pay for.! That's right on the spot.

It's sickening that people who are responsible for the health, safety, and welfare of disabled people make wages that are less than fast food workers. And social service agencies wonder why they can't find people to work for them long term.

The purpose of some job advertisements is to have people turn them down, so the company can justify H1-B immigrants. Of course the H1B folks come in, work a month or two, and then quit, becoming illegal. But then they can work under the table and not pay withholding or social security or medicare taxes. A win for everyone except the American Workers.

I'm currently unemployed, due to several complications. One being disabled, due to high blood pressure caused by stress and aggravation. I try very hard to be the very best person I can be. Lately it seems to me its getting more and more difficult to satisfy employers. They expect to much for what they are willing to compensate for.

walk away from the job market and create my own opportunity. loyalty, shmoyalty - it doesnt exist, employers fire at will - most states are employment at will, sorry that's reality. everyone is disposable when it comes to job - just above broke.... I have passive income of $1,000- $3000 a month. let my money work for me and stop trading my time for money for bozos and clowns to your point. y'all can't gripe about the wealthy if they make their money work for them - this is the secret sauce, atm money making machine even when you are sleeping, the money machine keeps making money for you....I may not be rich, not yet, but heck $1,000-$3,000 a month pays bills, I do it all from home too...set my own hours, have my own bathroom, coffee, don't have to deal with traffic, the perks are priceless...work 2-4 hrs daily, my choice....great writeoffs on my expenses, income tax, etc. Its working and now I'm looking to scale so I can start accelerating this- doubling, tripling, quadrupling to 10x it in less than a year, right from home too. What do you think this is worth ? just need to work towards this goal and not j-o-b, it's a new world, new reality

I know what you mean. I have met people who have a masters degree yet the company only wanted to pay them $15 an hour. What a joke!
