Some Courage there please
Happy holidays everryone! My goal is to work in the US and presently working for about 2 years in my country to earn it. I am a Filipino, a college undergraduate of BS in Civil Engineering. I wasn't able to finish my studies since I am doing all on my own without the support of my family just when I enter college. I got my passport ready and other possible requirements such as birth certificate, high school diploma, certificate of employment and proof of no criminal record NBI clearance. No idea of the next steps and how much more do I need just to get a job there. I got no issues of capabilities since I am flexible enough that I used to be an athlete in our university for 3 consecutive semesters and willingg to do anything. Thank you for your time

Keep pursuing your career goals Marick Jane Villaflor !!
You'll be just fine brother, your ability to details will for sure make you stand out in America. You seem to have a lot of drive and ambition, all you need to do now is come, and have faith in the lord. If your intentions are from your heart and your passions drive you to become a better you each day, come. If your seeking truth, diversity then come. I hope someday America will be able to maintain a unity of all is one and one is all. Until then just move to the west coast, Portland oregon area and south you'll be just fine. I grew up with Filipinos in Michigan and now live in Salem Oregon's capital and work with many Filipinos and also other nationalities. My only advice is never ever let the actions or thoughts of others dictate your life, your goals, or passions. And learn English, which looks like your already way advanced. I say stop stressing and trying to plan it all to the t, never works out, end up wasting time. Time my friend is more valuable than gold, can't get more. So stop feeling like you need more. You only need the courage to take the first step then before you know it... One day you'll wake up in your home in America and you'll think, huh why didnt I come sooner. If you want to work and contribute to America then my land is your land. Sorry feeling peaceful today and felt like I needed to give courage towards you. Please have a great rest of the holiday season. Melissa Proud American;)
