Was recently interviewed at a local Macy’s store and I am sorry to report that I was not impressed by the store, management or interviewing process. I was interviewed at a cashier station on the sales floor rather than in a private office or conference room, and this was the first and only time in my working history of 45 years that I was “admonished” for my early arrival time. The Macy’s of today is a far cry from the classy Macy’s in downtown San Francisco that I so vividly remember from my childhood days of the 1960’s. Needless to say, I wasn’t offered a job and would not have been inclined to accept it even if an offer had been extended. I perceived too many red flags warnings urging me to pass as far as Macy’s being my new employer.

Sounds like Macy's fashion valley.
