Just get all your documentation and go to one of this TV news they like to help people when the Government do not do anything and it is their fault someone in their Offices changes your address so it is their fault fight for what is yours and open another account in another Bank and good luck to you I wish you the best

It’s my unemployment account. After filing in July, I learned on 9/20 my address was changed to an address in Syracuse (I’m in white plains) and my direct deposit info was wiped out. I filed a police report but the police said they can’t do anything since it’s out of their jurisdiction. My payments were to begin this week. After checking the account, I found my original claim date was switched to March 2020 and again my direct deposit info was gone! The only solution I’m getting is to call the main line but I’ve done that. I spoke to someone in the local office here who basically said the only thing I can do is call my councilman?! I feel very unsafe about my account now & am upset this could happen twice on a govt website.

Yesterday I finally received my FIRST piece of mail regarding my account. Until now, all mail had been sent to the fraudulent address. It stated that I began my claim back in March... again, I still had a job in March! Then this morning I got an email from the Colorado division of Labor stating there was new info in my account! WTH??? COLORADO?! Now what?!

I filed a second fraud report with the FTC today. I guess tomorrow I really do have to call my councilman. Who knows now if I’ll ever see my unemployment????

I'm still real dedicated find myself online from any retail,or Porter job. That's willing hired me for seasonal full-time, or part-time jobs on holiday shift.

Your story sounds familiar Melissa

Melissa, what type of account has been hacked? Was it your Jobcase account?
I would not only report this by email, but also by certified mail. That way you know for sure they got it. I would google to find out who head of DOL in NYS, address the letter to him.
