The biggest mistake I made while working at Wawa was believing that my hard work and good work ethics would make me stand out!!! I loved this company and my job. I acually looked forward to gping to work each day. In my over a year working there I never missed a day. Never called out. Worked other people's hours when they called out. I even stayed there for 48hrs straight when we had a blizzard with 2 other employees. All for a temporary manager to come in and fire me for letting a child who was .27 cent short slide. My drawer wasnt even short. And we had been taught to do this by a previous manager. So my "BIGGEST MISTAKE AT WAWA" was.... ME BELIEVING THAT THIS COMPANY CARED ABOUT ME AND BELIEVING THAT I WASN'T JUST A NUMBER TO THEM!
