Just like any restaurant out there, n I have worked at quite a few different ones myself, you make sure that you show up on time, maybe even earlier than usual, .stand up n show your management team that u r dependable, n also remember that waitressing jobs r not just about taking orders, you have to make coffee, get ice when it runs out, restock items as they start getting low, and, believe me, there will always be those kinds of employees that don't n won't help with those kinds of things. Also, most managers, not all, but most, that will not appreciate anything that you go above n beyond anything extra that you do for them.or the company, so, use your own discernment, no Matter if it's IHOP or village inn, etc. The money is good at IHOP, but you can make just as much at other places. I'd stay at IHOP for the money and their chicken fajita omelettes.
