After the interview, if you're not contacted, does that mean you didn't get hired?

I went to the interview process and everything and cam fox said he could contact us within 30 minutes to have one one-on-one. But I never heard back from him. Which was disappointing. Cuz I was really excited about getting this job. Unfortunately though I had a lot of obstacles that kept holding me back from being able to get online for the interview on time. So for that reason I don't think I got the job. Even though each one of the obstacles I was dealing with honestly wasn't even my fault but I understand how it goes. #didigetthejob? #AfterInterviewingprocess&expectations #ForTheLoveOfGodPlsSomeoneHIREME #advice #jobsearch #interview #followup

Never give up! God’s got you! No matter what anyone else says! Keep trying and look for temp agencies or contact workforce development through local public social services. Remember Satan rules this world and will come against God’s children and make you doubt! I claim victory through Christ! Give your full heart to Jesus!

@Ashley Bagley Hello Ashley, unfortunately it sounds like you will not be moving forward with this job. While circumstances occur that are beyond our control, potential employers seldom care about this and are only interested in your ability to overcome these to get the job done. I highly recommend checking the Jobcase job board new roles are added all the time so you’ll want to be sure to check back often. Hope this helps and good luck 👍🏼

It is always good to keep your name at the forefront of their thoughts. Be sure to get a definitive yes or no and be willing to take other potential employment. I always ask if they know of other companies that are seeking help. This is something we all must do. Ford

@Ashley Bagley If you didn’t get the job don’t get discouraged and keep on applying. I recommend submitting 5-10 applications a week so you can create a pipeline of opportunities. Be aggressive when applying and you’ll land something that was ment for you.

Hey @Ashley Bagley, Unfortunately, some applicants do not follow up after being rejected for a job. Some businesses will send an email. Instead than waiting for one employer to react, I suggest you apply for as many as possible.

It’s best to follow up and ask. Doesn’t hurt to ask. It is a possibility that it may be for that reason or they are just catching up with work. Don’t get discouraged and just keep looking. If it’s meant to be, it will be yours.

It's possible that not hearing back after an interview means you didn't get hired, but it's not always the case. There could be various reasons for the delay, so it's best to follow up politely. Keep your job search wide by using platforms like Jobcase, and don't get discouraged. Stay positive and keep applying to increase your chances of finding the right opportunity. Good luck! #jobsearch #followup #staypositive
