Hey Jasmine! If you're looking for a job, I recommend clicking the Jobs button at the top of the page, entering your location, and the job position you'd like. Once you've done that, you can see listings of all the employers who are looking for someone like you. :)

Best of luck!

Hi Garrett,

Thanks for posting to Jobcase! My brother's a chef, so I jumped at the chance to answer your question :)

I read through your profile, and it looks like you're already on track to go to culinary school; that's definitely one of the best ways to push your career forward. I would also recommend looking to your employer for any help with culinary school. A lot of restaurants (especially the bigger chains) let their employees go to management/culinary training, with the prospect of a better-paying job once they've completed the program. It's an awesome way to get the training you need without going broke over tuition.

I would also consider working with a smaller restaurant, where the owner is probably more willing to let you take the reins in the kitchen.

When you're ready to start looking for a job, click the Jobs button at the top of the page, enter the location where you'd like to work, and the position you want. Look for employers who have a reputation for investing in their employees.

Best of luck!
