I know from a business standpoint that recruiters don’t always know exactly what the business needs. Yet from a personal perspective sometimes you know you are a great worker who can lead, delegate and learn quickly but that doesn’t always show on paper. Not always are we good about making a resume look wonderful. Also some people can make a resume look great but then can’t perform the job at hand. A recruiters main job is to see past the resume and see potential candidates. I think virtual interviews have taken away from how you feel about someone when you meet in person.

Too many just answer standard questions & use the internet to blast. Thats fishing, not head hunting.
