My unemployment runs out in about 2.5 months and I still have no job prospects in site. If I still don't have a job what is the next step? I know that PUA ends on 12/26. Are there any other extensions or options?
Hi, Rory, Did you have to respond to UIA for the reason why you were exited? You need to respond that you Performed the Job to the Best of your Ability; and that you were given no previous warnings (if they did not give you any). Those are two things you should stress in your answer to UIA. You are supposed to be given previous coaching if it was your performance and a chance to improve. Ensure UIA that you did the job to the best of your ability and would have gladly workd thigs out, if given a chance.
Listen for new Stimulus package they are working on passing this Friday, 12/18. They may extend Pandemic UI. If not, you have the option of the EB (extended benefits extension) from your State. Look up the % thresh hold for your particular State to see if you qualify.
