My advice to people interested in working at #Expressscripts as a #Pca ...
Make sure to keep up-to date with things. Healthcare changes. Also tone in your voice goes a long way. If a caller knows you feel their concern they are more likely to not be so hostile even if they have called about 6 times to resolve the issue. Treat people the way you want to be treated.

Brandi Gosch , I definitely agree with you 100 % . If you give out good vibes you'll definitely get them back in return .

That's a Beautiful Motto to live by, No Matter What Field You Are In-Wonderful Advice♡

This is great advice for ANY job, not just that one. EVERYONE should keep up with technology and be willing to learn new things. ALL people, while on the job, ANY job, should speak PROFESSIONALLY, and with a smile on their face to clients, patients, customers, supervisors, other employees, or anyone who they should encounter during their work day. Remember, a smile goes a long way and it can change the tone in your voice while you are on the phone. Make sure you smile as you answer the phone and speak to people.

Well said.

Hello Brandi, This is so true one of my clients were having a crisis on my day off (Saturday). She called and I was trying to help resolve the problem with her. Once I finished the call my 6 year old grandson ask me "granny, why was you talking like that" and I told him that I wanted the other person to feel that I care about what she was saying and being what we call professional. We can all here what you are saying because of how you say it. Take care

Brandi Great advice!! Good luck

your advice is 99% true. some people call in taking your head off before you even give them a hello and introduce yourself.I have workedd for Expressscripts as a PCA and some people are hostile through the whole call even if you are caring and polite. You just have to hold you tongue while you are on the phone Although you do not have to take verbal abuse and can ask them to stop calling you names and screaming at you. Just because you are a PCA does not mean you are someones punching bag.

Good suggestion to people in the Customer Service industry. Always think of yourself on the other end of that phone call.

I think that makes since. Thank you for the advice.
That is so true
