In this role, you will be accepting inbound calls and assist customers to find the right doctor, solving claim concerns or help them understand their benefits. The starting pay is $13 an hour AND is negotiable depending upon experience.

What will my day look like?

We have amazing customers and when they need help with anything – they contact you! You may assist a customer to find the right doctor for them or their family, solve a claim concern, or help them understand their benefits. Every time a customer calls with a question or concern, you guide them through.

What qualifications do I need to have?

• Excited and passionate about helping solve problems - you don’t need to have a healthcare background to apply
• Be curious about our members needs with a sincere satisfaction in providing high level of service
• A strong communicator with good listening and computer skills and the ability to be empathetic and helpful.
• Easy to work with and a positive attitude toward resolving different challenges throughout the day. 
• Enthusiasm to work with customers on complex issues and a desire to finding resolutions

Just received my rejection for an Anthem Case Manager role-no reason, auto-reply kind of thing. This is very disheartening, especially when you spend gas money, and basically, the entire day for the one opportunity. The manager did not even know what type of interview she was doing and kept referring to it as "motivational" interviewing, which it was not. It was behavioral interviewing-can you think of a time....etc. I know motivational interviewing and it's how you coach members-geesh! I was polite, dressed for success, timely, and answered all the questions to the best of my ability, with their knowing beforehand, my experience was outside the role. I was told it was not a problem. Well, I will scratch them off my list for now as my request for feedback as to why I was no longer considered for an entry level CM position was ignored. I should have known that it was not going to happen when the hiring manager left a message for me after 6pm with her cell number...the wrong number!!
