In Mississippi..ok so I still had benefits under my original claim but received a letter stating I am eligible to file for "adtl" pua . So I filed only to find out later that my original benefits were cancelled and my pua was approved.either way, we only get $235 a week and if you work you have to claim that $ and it reduces your benefits. Now,I'm not complaining I am grateful to receive any help. This is the first time in 40 years of employement I have ever used a single gov benefit for anything,ever. Just pay very close attention to what you are signing for and make sure your answering the questions truthfully and accurately because it's major if you have to start over again. Get help with any questions you have the 1st time cause the 2nd will cost you " stroke and distance". Hope this helps a little.

You have to file for Unemployment extended benefits (EB) if your regular unemployment benefits and PUA benefits have run out. Don't stop filing your weekly claims. If you don't hear anything you might have to file a new claim. Look on your state's department of labor website and download the information for unemployment extended benefits. It should tell you what to do. After that contact your state's representatives to help you.

Well when I was being trained for the position my trainer wouldn't let me have any thing to eat and then when I did. I kept getting in the way of the mirrors, I got very sick with stomach flu and couldn't move , been through the doctor's and the company fired me even with a note, so I tried to get unemployment, company denied me.

Here in Indiana if you exhausted your benefits they automatically file for an extension, if your does not do it automatically by 2 days after the week exhaust your benefits you should be able to file a new claim for extended benefits.
