My advice to people interested in working at #XtechSecurity as a #Installer ...

You will learn fast. Get in get your experience, and GET OUT! Otherwise, Not worth it . Don't be fooled by the$15-$16 an hour. It takes 12-14 hours to get paid for 8. So it works out to about $9 per hour.

Drama at #XtechSecurity

I had to make a decision wether to have my leg amputated below my knee or risk not surviving the flesh eating staph infection

My tip for someone who wants to work for #XtechSecurity is you will learn fast

I was bitten by some sort of insect or spider I immediatelyediately reported it to my supervisor Josh Brown. Basically I was told it was nothing and to get back to work. The next day my whole lower leg was swollen and the site of the bite had quadrupled in size I again went to Josh Brown asking him if I could go to the clinic and get checked out he told me I was on thin ice and to get back to work. The next day I had an abscess that had exploded, in pain so bad I could barely touch my foot to the floor let alone hear weight on it I was delivered to centinela ER where they immediately started me on IV antibiotics and ultimately admitted me for sepsis, cellulitis, necrosis. I spent the next day and ICU & and the next two days in medsurg. I sent Josh and HR real-time updates of my status I did not receive back one phone call or one visitor I was released from the hospital and put on bed rest for the next week and a half upon returning to extech with a file full of doctor's note excusing me I was met with the termination. To add insult to injury extech challenged my unemployment benefits stating that I was a attendance problem unfortunately for me EDD office did not care or taking consideration that every single one of my absences was covered by a doctor's note my unemployment benefits were denied and I have spent the last several months trying to recover. Xtech's workers comp program works like this if you get sick or injured on a job you were fired 10 minutes ago so why were you still on even on the job site?
