i would be more and happy to join your crew
I am a hard worker I work every day

Having the right perspective
Not feeling sorry for myself or making excuses, but like a lot of people I have made mistakes in past jobs that affect me now when I try to apply for new jobs. Maybe I am overthinking things a little bit. The best job I ever had was as a security officer. I did it for a total of 1 year and 6 months. The only big mistake that I made was sleeping on the job at one site. My supervisor offered to move me to another site or I could quit. Not thinking about how it would effect my future, I quit. I was in my twenties but I still shouldn't have made that mistake. Obviously sleeping on the job is something that should NEVER be allowed and something that we should NEVER do. This was back in 2009-2010. I took this job for granted. On good months I was making 1400 a month. The opportunity for advancement with pay raises was there. I was getting asked to work at more and more sites. It was not a hard job at all. That's the most money I have ever made on a job. There's a lot I could have done in my personal life by now if I was still on that job. Anyway, I learned a lot on the job as far as doing the job. But I learned more about myself and am learning from past mistakes. I'm not the person that was sleeping on the job back then. It's hard to show employers that. I tried going to school, but that didn't work out. I was reminded of all of this during my phone interview for a security job today. Any job would be hard to get, and I am open to doing work I don't want to do. I just feel like my skills and personality are best suited for security. Maybe I can't do security any more, no matter how much I believe that I can do the job. I kind of don't know what to do. Take a look at my resume. Any advice is welcome.

DON'T EVER FORGET THIS! (Choose your friends wisely.) [IBYC]
I'm telling you the truth...
THOUGHT: The persons we choose as friends can have a tremendous impact on who we are and who we become in life.
CIRCUMSTANCES: Many people arbitrarily choose the wrong friends right off the bat, without blinking an eye. For example, and tell me if I'm right...People will make friends with Procrastination.
PROCRASTINATION... is the act or action of delaying or postponing something you should do, then, end-up not doing until a later date. Then, you recognize it's too late because someone else is doing what you should have done, now they are walking away with the prize of life.
LESSONS LEARNED: Everyone that wears the same uniform doesn't mean they're on your team. Choose your friends wisely in life, because such friends can have a tremendous impact of your life. Procrastination is NOT your friend.
I Believe You Can...!

I stayed positive and motivated at my job by...
I stay positive at work by just going in there and doing my job even though it a hard job and some people make it a difficult place to work I stay focus on my goals and that to come in and do the best job I can

Something great I learned at my job was
How to multi task.and help others

busy.
Meeting new people, different tasks and stayed busy.

More advice, pleeeease.....
Sorry to complain again but holy holy I have to get it off my chest and get some ideas from my fellow Jobcasers. Ok so when I first started I only finished 60% of my training before they threw me to the wolves. I was showed by another employee how to do things and things I have to get finished before my shift is over. That means I'm supposed to refill everything for the next shift, clean everything for the next shift and just plain ole common courtesy to restock what you've used for the day. I had to take a huge chunk of my time out of my day so I could finish what they couldn't. Idk whether to say anything to the boss or not. I don't want to complain but for Christ sake, I'm tired of picking up everyone's slack. I already overheard the boss talking about how more than one person doesn't do their job. Watcha think guys? Should I bring it up to her? Or just let it go? Thank you guys for taking the time to read it and give me your opinion. I really really appreciate it!

Work ethics
When your hired to do one position or a certin job duty . is it appropriate for your boss and other employees to have you stop your position which gets you backed up to go and help them do whatever they are wanting. They never stay and help finish your work load. What ya think ?

Needing employment
I'm a convicted felon but an extremely hard worker. Need someone to give me a chance to prove myself. Any advice?

Looking back at my last job, i learned troubleshooting every day and compiled a game plan for problems forthcoming
Looking for a new challenge . To keep me on the move.
