I think a GREAT work culture should...
CPP, was a very successful event company. A large variety of clients and events in a 4 state area. The work culture was. Hard work, always on a timeline, some local, some regional, and some nationwide. Always creative a d no two events the same. The crew worked hard. Played hard, we're paid well, traveled to a variety of out of state jobs.
The hardest thing was, learning to enjoy and embrace the down time
We would start work on a project on Monday, load trucks, be on location by Thursday, work Thurs, Fri, set up, dedign, install, attend, strike, load up, travel, unload. Maybe have 2 days down, start all over again.
Some people could not adjust to the temporary creations. Most of our events were themed , with attendance of 400-800 guests.

I think a GREAT work culture should...
Like at McDonalds, having the daily ritual conversations with my repeat customers. I enjoyed the fast pace at our rush lunch hour. The empathetic management team was a bonus. You don't have that often. Being a part of the training team was rewarding. Watching the new crew member as they caught on with what you aided in them learning and applying in their position. Being a part of team. Doing something good in life.

I think a GREAT work culture should...fun and enjoyable
It was fun working at Peter Piper Pizza. The workers there really showed what it was like to be having fun and showing kids how to make pizza, wings, an watching the workers cut the pizzas in front of them.

Does this company have a good culture??
Get the inside scoop on what a company is ALL about by asking these questions during your next interview or at a job fair! This will help to determine if their work culture is right for you.
-Where do the people who work here usually eat their lunch? Are they eating while they work at their desks? Do they offer a common area to share their lunch time? Do they go out for lunch together? Figuring out how employees spend their lunch will tell you whether they are slammed with work, don’t want to spend time with their colleagues, and if they enjoy each other’s company.
-Would it be alright to take a quick tour? Environment is KEY here, so be sure to take it all in if they offer a tour and observe all that you can. This is the place you will be everyday if you are hired. As you look around, are individuals interacting with one another? Do the workers look stressed? Is the break/lunch room decorated/clean? Does it give you a good vibe or a negative one?
-How do you measure success? Is your future employer going to have unrealistic expectations? Make sure you feel confident to go after what they explain they will be expecting of you. If you aren’t then this might not be the right place for you. An employer that demands LONG work days, for example, may not be a good fit, but if you like to work a ton it will be perfect.
-What are some past company outings or events that you’ve had? This will reveal if they are all work and no play as well as how they treat their employees. A company will most likely have a holiday party at the very least, but I have worked for some that did not, and as it turns out the employees weren’t truly valued. This is so important! If you want to work for an employer who takes care of their employees be sure to ask this question.
Good luck with any future interviews you have coming up!!
How did YOU find out if a company was right for you?

What I lioved working at #Alvinschool

How to deal with coworkers
Look everyone there are people who need a little push when working I learned a lot in a warehouse trust me the pressure is real but after months and months of work you realize teamwork is a big key if you see your team not making expectation push them to there limit now don’t be negative about it ,make little competitions here and there make it fun don’t make it what people say a “miserable” job that’s toxic and no one wants the hear toxic comments. Trust me it will make your job fun could even impress your bosses. Just a little self example I made for my work.

I wish I could have changed #Newk'sEatery

Should i keep my job?
During the last few months, I have had a couple problems with coworkers. One they (3) have complained about me to management about the way I did my job. Mind you these 3 people are new to the job. Management came to me with a comment of "You are the most hated person". These three have been after me because I tried to help and all they have done is disrespect me. Now one of them was in the HR office when the HR personnel was talking to me. Yesterday the personnel person came to me while I was working with customers and made the statement "What we discuss in my office is confidential and if I hear about you saying anything again you will be coached on confidentiality." As they walked away I was amazed because I hadn't said anything and if it was confidential why did she have another person in the room while discussing it with me? I am so confused and disappointed in my work environment. I have been looking for another job. But the question is should I keep this one with what's going on? I figure those three will not be happy until I am fired and I have a feeling it was them trying to get me terminated because the third person that was in HR that day was one of them. What would you do?

Managers
More companies even small need to send there managers to management class. They need to learn how to talk to there people in order to have great moral. Where I work no one likes there job because of this problem . I try so hard to come to work in a great mood no matter what. For the most part I like my job, but hate coming to work because Of this I've spoken to upper management about it nothing changes. We have lost great sales people because of it. And may loose another.

Teamwork
Working together as a team makes the job experience so much easier and helps build good relations with less hostility.
