I have been there for 5 years and waste management caught on fire 13071 South Jeffery Chicago Illinois and we have been laid off since June 12th 2018 and they told us that it won't be up and running for the next five or six months so I need to be employed

So I’ve been a driver for Waste Management for a yearish now and I love it. My coworkers are great, the pay and benefits are good, and the work isn’t too bad. I’ve definitely had worse jobs for less money. A new family just moved into a house on our route and they have a 6 year old girl who LOVES watching us when we come by. She waits by the front door to come out and just waves at us and jumps up and down. It’s adorable. I spoke to her dad for a few and he said she is just fascinated by the truck and the ‘garbage guys’. It put a smile on our face and gives us all something to look forward to!!
It’s nice to see that we have such an impact on her. What stories do you guys have?
