A LOL moment #Visiting Angels

I saw a lot of people while I was avisiting angel. One of my favorite gentlemen was a man named Duke who when I would get to his house I would help him change his bed and then shave and get cleaned up so we could go out for lunch. Every time I would shave him he would get a big smile on his face and I would have to stop so I didn't cut him we would both sit there and smile for a while and laugh and then he would straighten up and we'd get the job done I think about him often.

I felt proud to work for #Visiting Nurses when...

I worked with all assigned hospice patients from the very beginning of Covid 19. VNA provided us with additional safety equipment and guidance and vaccinations very early in the process.

One thing I would have loved to have at #Visiting Angels was

the training that their clients deserved. The company has you come in for one class with a person who looks like a bumb. Then they say you're ready to work alone.

I felt proud to work for #Visiting Angels when...

It was the most rewarding job I've ever had. There was no question I was making a huge difference in the quality of life for my clients. I found out just how patient I can be, and felt very loved and appreciated. If Covid hadn't happened I wouldn't have left the job. Being a caregiver is hard physically and mentally, but I was willing to do whatever it took to make life a bit easier, and bring smiles to their faces.
