A #stressful #VAMedicalCenter day
Recently the events surrounding Hurricane Harvey. Lots of close calls and spending four or five consecutive days at the medical center was high stress; especially when your immediate family was not at the medical center as well.

Addressing the customers concerns will indeed dictate the success of an organization. I ensure all concerns are addressed and when the outcomes are not what the customer wanted, transparency in explaning the situation goes a long way.
As for coworkers, open and honest dialogue work best. Hospital operations is usually very fast pace and stressful. Relationships and teamwork us a must. Difficult conversations are part of building and maintaining good working relationships.

What I loved working at #VAMedicalCenter
To serve those who have served is quite an honor. You get to know many of the veterans and some become almost like family. I would encourage all to consider public service at one point in his/her career. You get a chance to be part of something thats bigger than all of us.

My advice to people interested in working at #VAMedicalCenter,PerryPointlMD as a #StaffChaplain/AddictionCounselor ...
You would have to be called to that position as well as have a love and compassion for the Veterans.

What I loved working at #VAMedicalCenter,PerryPointlMD
I loved ministering to the needs of the Veterans, facilitating spirituality groups and providing worship services on Sundays.
