Unemployed mom.
My last position was with the USPS as a casual Mail handler. I wouldn't mind going back it's a hard job and there employees aren't that friendly. But the pay was great!

It was the best decision of my life I am now a retired Postmaster after 36 years and i wouldent have it any other way. If you have the chance jump at it you won't be disappointed. Good luck

The biggest mistake I made as a #Postmaster at #USPS ...
It was a hot summer day, i eas delivering a foot route all pf the mail boxes are in the door so the mail drops inside their house. When I got to my last delivery on that street I realized I was one address off on the whole block and no way to fix it. I felt like a total loser. But

A #stressful #USPS day
OMG, TSLK ABOUT STRESSFUL. I WAS IN MY 90 DAY HIRE OR FIRE. I WAS ON A ROUTE I HAD NEVER DONE. I didn't have the route pulled down and ready to be delivered until 3:30. Now understand all carriers had to be off the street by 5:00. I was totally stressed no one said anything about sending me help.so I ran my but off and got back to the office at 5 til 5:00. When I walked in the office my supervisor said why are you back here I sent 4 carriers out to help you. I said no need I'm done. Funny thing is I still have nightmares of falling asleep and waking up at 5 til 5 and still having my whole route to deliver...

Drama at #USPS
Sent a fake report to the postal inspection service. I was the Postmaster he was my secretary. He made up a report that i was taking my staff car home every night. Total lie, i eas vindicated.

My advice to people interested in working at #USPS as a #RuralCarrierAssociate ...
The money is great at the Albany P&DC. Unlimited OT. I was grossing over 100,000/yr. However, sick management and well established patronage system make for a very stressful and toxic work environment. The unions are sell outs. The average age of a starting USPS employee is 33. Last chance "losers". They promote the worst workers to management.

I ignored him,I do not partake in frivolous displays of drama calculated to cause disruption on the work floor, that is all a loss of time .
