What I loved working at #USPS
USPS is the worst place I've ever worked and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy

Their letters to Santa
Being a mail carrier is hard someday’s and I served this great country. But I have to say my favorite time of year working at the post office is when all the letters to Santa come in. I don’t know if it’s the thought of all those kids believing in something bigger than themselves or what, but it always puts a smile on my face. I always hope their wishes will come true.

City Carrier
I was employed for USPS, Arlington, VA., from 1987-1991 when I had to relocate back to Mississippi because wife had job with USDA. I could not transfer to MS. because I was told hiring freeze on The postal supervisor did not discuss reinstatement with me due to being a former employee with tenure and I am a service-connected veteran. I've sent question in at time I completed application for City Carrier. I also requested guidance as to would I have to retake exam since I took exam before being hired by USPS

Have some pride.
I was a mail carrier for a very long time and made my way up to postmaster. I have devoted my life and love to the United States Postal Service and I don’t regret a single second. I worked hard and still do everyday. I take pride in the job and the deadlines needed to complete the daily tasks. I have made many friends in the company because I am NEVER afraid to lend a hand or help a carrier out when they were tired, sore, hurt or when life had simply beat them down. It’s important to always help others and have pride in what you do no matter what.

To land a job at #USPS I would say to...
You have to be persistant....but to be honest USPS is the most unethical and unorganized company ive ever worked for. I guess thats the price to pay to make good money that doesnt require a Degree.
