My advice to people interested in working at #US Government ...
There are so many other places to work. Be prepared for "the good ole boy system".

Something I learned at #US Census Bureau ...
I learned a lot about the history of the Census. Then I learned why collecting the required information is needed. Most people wouldn’t answer the door and a lot of the information couldn’t be collected. Most people don’t trust the government these days. I enjoyed being a field supervisor because I was able to work closely with a really good group of people.

My advice to people interested in working at #US Investigative Services ...
They promote the worst people into positions of management with no leadership skills or training. What should have been the perfect job was made torturous because of working for power hungry morons

I really loved working for #US Postal Service because...
I was working for all the people on my route and it became even more important because most of my last route was mainly business and what I did was even more important!!

My advice to people interested in working at #US Armed Forces ...
Step in the right direction you will get more done by 9am and no two days are the same. Plus you stand for what's right good and just. PS: Your health and fellow combatants will thank you. Warning some aspects you may have to put away. War is not glorious, and you may lose brothers guard you mental health.

One thing I would have loved to have at #US Security was
Tiotin reimbusement

I really loved working for #US Postal Service because...
Of the satisfaction I felt at the end of most every day knowing that I did a fair day’s work for a fair day’s pay,and the Postal Service ensured me the means of doing it.

My advice to people interested in working at #US Border Patrol ...
Working for the US Border Patrol was a great experience. Exciting, good benefits and pay. Good retirement and Thrift Savings Fund (401K). Many opportunities to put in for new details such as horse patrol, atv unit, scope operator, Intelligence Officer and specialty units such as BORSTAR- Border Patrol Search Trauma and Rescue team and AMO- Air Marine Operations. If you are ambitious you can promote or take on any of these assignments. There may be opportunities to work in different parts of the US along the border. Apply online at CBP.gov.
